Packet data connection Select Menu gt Settings gt Connectivity gt Packet data gt Packet data connection and from the following options e When needed to register and establish an EJGPRS connection when an application using E GPRS needs it and to close the connection when you end the application e Always online to set the phone to automatically register to an EJGPRS network when you switch on the phone G or E indicates that the GPRS or EGPRS service is available If you receive a call ora text message or make a call during a GPRS or EGPRS connection amp or indicates that the GPRS or EGPRS connection is suspended on hold Packet data settings You can connect the phone using Bluetooth wireless technology infrared or USB data cable connection to a compatible PC and use the phone as a modem to enable E GPRS connectivity from the PC To define the settings for E GPRS connections from your PC select Menu gt Settings gt Connectivity gt Packet data gt Packet datasettings gt Active access point and activate the access point you want to use Select Edit active access point gt Alias for access point enter a name to change the access point settings and select OK Select Packet data access point enter the access point name APN to establish a connection to an E GPRS network and select OK You can also set the E GPRS dial up service settings access point name on your PC using

Bluetooth technology allows you to connect the phone to a compatible Bluetooth device within 10 meters 32 feet Since devices using Bluetooth technology communicate using radio waves your phone and the other devices do not need to be in direct line of sight although the connection can be subject to interference from obstructions such as walls or from other electronic devices Set up a Bluetooth connection Select Menu gt Settings gt Connectivity gt Bluetooth and from the following options Bluetooth gt On or Off to activate or deactivate the Bluetooth function 3 indicates an active Bluetooth connection Search for audio enhanc to search for compatible Bluetooth audio devices Select the device that you want to connect to the phone Paired devices to search for any Bluetooth device in range Select New to list any Bluetooth device in range Scroll to a device and select Pair Enter the Bluetooth passcode of the device to associate pair the device to your phone You must only give this passcode when you connect to the device for the first time Your phone connects to the device and you can start data transfer Bluetooth wireless connection Select Menu gt Settings gt Connectivity gt Bluetooth To check which Bluetooth connection is currently active select Active devices To view a list of Bluetooth devices that are currently paired with the phone select Paired devices Select Opt
