1. phone will not ring other phones in your home on the same line will ring TONE PULSE SWITCH TONE The phone will operate using tone dialing PULSE The phone will dial using rotary dial type pulse NOTE Even when your phone is set to pulse service this phone can dial tones for access to services that require tone sounds like computer systems or call directors Just press the Tone Button 3 after dialing in pulse and your buttons can now be used for tone signaling for this call only After you hang up the phone resets itself to pulse dialing 3 PH 600082799 MS V 2 E COILED HANDSET CORD TELEPHONE OPERATION 1 RECEIVING A CALL When your telephone rings pick it up and use like any basic telephone 2 DIALING A CALL Pick up the phone wait for dial tone and dial the number desired 3 ENDING A CALL After you have finished a conversation just hang up 4 TO REDIAL LAST NUMBER If you want to redial the last number quickly get a new dial tone press the Redial Button To erase redial memory lift the handset and dial any numbers 5 FLASH BUTTON The button is used to get a new dial tone also this button is used to activate customer calling services available through your local phone company such as call waiting These service are provided by your phone company and cost extra 6 MUTE BUTTON Pressing the Mute Button prevents the other party from hearing your conversation WHILE THE BUTTON IS HELD DOWN WALL MOUNT2.
