7. y operate when positioned on the multi directional base with the ON OFF switch in the ON position The kettle will automatically switch OFF when the water is boiled To fill the kettle remove it from the multi directional base and open the lid Fill with the desired amount of water Never fill the kettle above the MAX mark which is indicated inside the kettle Too little water will result in the kettle switching OFF before the water has boiled Note Do not fill above the MAX mark as boiling water may splash out from the kettle The max line is shown on the red indicator inside the kettle Ensure the lid is firmly in place before placing the kettle on the multi directional base Position the kettle on the multi directional base Plug the cord into a 230 240 volt power outlet and switch the outlet on Flick the ON OFF switch downwards the Power light will illuminate Once the water has boiled the kettle will automatically switch OFF Lift the kettle from the multi directional base and pour the water Note This kettle must only be used with the multi directional base supplied Use caution when pouring water from your kettle as boiling water will scald CAUTION Do not operate the kettle on an inclined surface Do not operate the kettle without water Do not move the kettle while it is switched on Do not remove the lid while water is boiling
