Elite Kettle D e Dy X Issue 1 02 KAK5 Kambrook Safety Welcome to Kambrook and your new Cordless Elite Kettle At Kambrook we believe that the safe performance of our products is the first priority in any consumer product so that you our valued customer can confidently use and trust our products We ask that any electrical appliance that you use be operated in a sensible fashion with due care and attention placed on the following important operating instructions READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE ACTIVATING THE APPLIANCE AND RETAIN THEM FOR FUTURE REFERENCE THIS APPLIANCE HAS BEEN DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR THE PURPOSE OF BOILING WATER UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THIS PRODUCT BE USED TO HEAT OR BOIL OTHER LIQUIDS OR FOODSTUFFS OR SUBSTANCES MATERIALS Ensure that the power source to be used is the same as the voltage requirements of the product Always switch off at the outlet and then unplug when not in use before moving cleaning and storing Always ensure kettle is switched off before removing replacing kettle to base Place appliance on a dry level surface Do not touch hot surfaces Use handle for lifting and carrying the appliance Never immerse the cord plug kettle or power base in water or any other liquid Keep clear of walls curtains and other heat or steam sensitive materials Minimum 200mm distance The appliance is not intended for use by young childre2. zn 9 6 Dual sided full length water windows gives fast reference to water level for left and right handed people 7 Cool touch handle is comfortable to use and suitable for all hand sizes Cordless base for ease of use filling and cleaning o Fast Boil for easy re boiling of warm water Using Your Kambrook Elite Kettle Before first use of your new Kambrook Elite Kettle clean the element and internal section of the container by boiling the kettle full following the instructions below and then discard water NOTE The Kambrook Elite Kettle must only be used with the power base supplied To fill the kettle open the lid by pulling up on the handle on the lid Fig Fill the kettle to the desired level of water Do not fill above the max water level line or below the minimum water level line marked on the water window Do not over fill the kettle as this may result in boiling water being splashed out and too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled Place the power base on a level flat surface Plug into a 230 240V power outlet and switch on Ensure that the lid is locked firmly in place and then place the kettle securely onto the power base Push the On Off switch down The light will illuminate indicating that the kettle is boiling water Once the water is boiled the kettle will automatically switch off Switch off at the power outl

IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID Always switch off at the power outlet and then unplug before cleaning moving or storing the appliance Additionally ensure that moisture does not come into contact with cords plugs or cordless contact points Interior Cleaning Removal of Mineral Deposits Mineral deposits in the water may cause the kettle interior to discolour This may be removed by using a Kettle Descaler available from most supermarkets and hardware stores Alternatively fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the remainder with water and allow to stand overnight DO NOT BOIL Empty the solution from the kettle Fill the kettle again with clean water bring to the boil and discard the water Repeat and the kettle will then be ready for use Exterior Cleaning Always ensure that the power is switched off and disconnected prior to cleaning Exterior of the kettle can be cleaned with a damp cloth and then dried with a dry clean cloth Do not use abrasives harsh cleaning solutions chemicals or hard brushes for cleaning as these may scratch and damage the unit Notes MA REPL Ga Kambrook 12 Month arman Replacement Warranty KAMBROOK warrants the purchaser against defects in workmanship and 2 material for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase 3 months commercial use Guarantee and purchase receipt for this product are to be retained as proof of purchase and must
