2. until you release the button Switching on off On both Parent and Baby Units To switch On press D until the link light comes on and the display activates At the Parent Unit the red and green sound sensitive lights illuminate briefly to confirm they are working Or To switch Off press D until the display goes blank and the link light goes off Adjust volume There are 5 volume levels on each Unit and there is also an Off setting on the Parent Unit You cannot switch the volume off on the Baby Unit At the Parent or Baby Unit Press Volume to increase or Volume to decrease the volume Changing the volume setting on the Baby Unit affects the volume when you use the Talk Back feature Talk Back You can use the Talk Back feature to comfort and reassure your baby Press and hold on the Parent Unit to speak to baby The green link lights on both Units flash and Talk is displayed on the Parent Unit Release to hear your baby again Change Talk Back volume The Baby Unit has 1 5 volume levels Press or on the Baby Unit to increase or decrease the volume BT Digital Baby Monitor Plus Edition 4 26 02 04 5740 Paging You can use the button on the Baby Unit to find the Parent Unit or alert another member of the family via the intercom Press ase The Parent Unit will automatically reset to mid volume and the paging alert will sound Fasins is displayed on b

7. e Range Alert On Off 10 BT Digital Baby Monitor Plus Edition 4 26 02 04 5740 Using the Baby Monitor Pre set temperature range The Baby Unit comes with pre set minimum and maximum temperatures so if the temperature falls below 14 C or goes above 23 C an alert will sound Healthcare professionals advise that the ideal temperature for your baby s room is between 16 C and 20 C Temperatures below 7 C or above 33 C will be displayed as flashing hyphens WARNING The temperature sensor is to monitor the room temperature and must not be used to take the baby s temperature The default setting is Alert On With Light Off the night lights will gradually fade to off on the baby Unit The icon on the Parent Unit disappears from the display Temperature Your BT Baby Monitor Plus constantly monitors alert temperature in your baby s room and alerts you if it gets too hot or too cold This temperature is displayed clearly on both the Baby and Parent Units Changing the temperature range You can set your own minimum and maximum alert temperatures The minimum temperature can be anywhere between 10 C and 19 C and the maximum temperature anywhere between 22 C and 30 C Press then scroll or to Teneerature and press C7 The current temperature and Fanse are displayed press 7 The minimum temperature setting is displayed Scroll or amp to the minimum temperature

9. how Alert Off press 7 to select this option and 3 will be displayed Silencing a sound alert Press any button on the Parent Unit Sensitivity You can change the level of sensitivity on your BT Digital Baby Monitor Plus to suit your baby For example if your baby is a particularly guiet sleeper you can increase the sensitivity levels so that you are sure to hear if baby disturbs or becomes uncomfortable Press then scroll Up or Down to Sensitivity and press 7 Scroll or to select the sensitivity level you require for low sensitivity or for high sensitivity then press 7 ec is displayed Using the Baby Monitor EI When the Parent Unit volume is set to off and two of the red sensor lights come on an alert will sound to warn you of the increased noise level in the baby s room If you set the sensitivity level too low only louder sounds in the baby s room will be picked up and communicated back to you via the Parent Unit The Unit will not pick up quieter background noises BT Digital Baby Monitor Plus Edition 4 26 02 04 5740 12 Using the Baby Monitor While a lullaby is playing you can still access any of the menu functions To turn the volume down or off at the Parent Unit Press or When volume is set to off you can still keep a check that the lullaby is playing via the display Lullaby The Baby Unit plays lullabies to gently soothe your baby back to sleep Each l
10. ies for 16 hours before switching on the Parent Unit For added convenience attach the belt clip To remove the belt clip Push on the Q belt clip tab with your thumb 1 then lift the belt clip off 2 BT Digital Baby Monitor Plus Edition 4 26 02 04 5740 Baby Unit Once your Parent Unit has been fully charged Plug the mains power cable into the socket marked on the side of the Baby Unit Connect the other end to the mains power and Bi switch on LP Your Baby Unit also works on battery power so that you can use it even when you are not near to a mains power socket or during a power cut Using your finger or a coin A A AA turn the battery lock on the back of the Baby Unit anti gt clockwise so the groove is Unlock Lock horizontal then lift off the cover Insert 4 x AA Alkaline batteries not supplied as shown Using batteries Replace the battery cover turning the battery lock into the vertical position again to lock it Check the connection When both Units are switched on the green link lights on both Units will come on If the link between the Units is broken at any time the link lights will turn red and flash slowly and Hot Linked will be displayed on both Units At the Parent Unit you will also hear an alert signal 3 beeps to warn you that there is no communication between the Units If this happens check that the mains power is

13. oth Units To stop the Page alert press any button on the Parent Unit or press again on the Baby Unit The Parent Unit menu The button on your Parent Unit can be used to select and change the settings on the Baby Unit without having to risk disturbing your baby You can access the settings by Pressing then B or to scroll through the options Then press A to confirm your choice Pressing again will exit the current menu option or the unit will return to idle Night lights The starry night lights provide a soft and comforting glow for your baby and allow you to check on baby without having to turn on the main room light At the Baby Unit Press the button on the top of the Baby Unit The icon is displayed on both the Parent and the Baby Unit to show the night lights are on Press the button again to switch off At the Parent Unit Press Lisht On or Lisht Off is displayed press A to confirm yoiur choice With Light On the icon will be displayed on the Parent Unit in idle mode and the night lights on the Baby Unit will turn on Using the Baby Monitor Please note If you press gt once you will stop the Paging alert if you press lt gt twice you will open the voice link for you to talk to your baby and your baby will also hear any background noise you make Menu options Light on off Lullaby Stop Play Select New Sensitivity Sound Alert Alert On Off Temperatur
