2. 9021 9021 CE R Optiseat 2014 06 12 V2 5 User Manual General This wireless Optiseat alarms when a person is standing up from a chair If the person is standing up longer than a preset time the Optiseat will alarm This Optiseat works in combination with the Daza receiver and the Daza pagers Operating the Optiseat There is a LED on the control box figure 1 that indicates whether the cushion is on or off green or red and a push button to turn the cushion on off Daza Check whether the system is on or off e e Press the push button briefly figure 1 2 7 e The lamp indicates whether the system is on or off Red is off green is on LED Switching on and off e Hold the push button for 3 seconds e The LED changes colour and the system is now on or off e This is also indicated by an acoustic signal 2 short beeps for on 1 beep for PUSH BUTTON off e When someone sits down on the cushion the LED on the control box will show the status of the system Figure 1 Push button LED Reminder function e When the system is switched off and a client is helped out of the chair the next time the chair is used the cushion is automatically switched on after 10 seconds By default the Optiseat works as follows e Switch the system on e When the client gets out of the chair a beep sounds for 4 seconds adjustable to activate the client s self correcting ability e If the client does not sit down
