5. et the timer turn the unit on at the reguired speed press the TIMER button until the desired run time is illuminated The fan will turn off once the time has expired Adjust tilt by turning neck screw and tilting body to the desired wind direction i e either upward or downward To activate the oscillation function push down the oscillation pin on the top of the motor The fan will then oscillate until the pin is pulled back up PROOF OF PURCHASE To receive warranty retain receipt as proof of purchase Refer to back of booklet GOLDAIR Pressing the mode button will select the wind mode i e natural sleep or normal The mode will be indicated on the display panel IMPORTANT APPLIANCE NEVER COVER THIS Remote Control The remote control reguires 2 x AAA batteries not included Open the battery compartment by sliding the cover down Insert batteries noting the polarity indicated in the battery compartment Replace the cover by sliding it up Cleaning and Maintenance To avoid risk of electric shock before cleaning you MUST ALWAYS switch off and unplug the fan Use only a soft damp cloth to gently wipe the fan and dry well We recommend periodic cleaning of this appliance by lightly running a vacuum cleaner nozzle over the grills to remove any dust or dirt that may have accumulated Do not immerse the fan in water and never allow water to enter the motor housing Do not use harsh chemicals to clean
