2. listen for the incoming request In the above setting the device will send a binary string that needs to be replied with exactly the same as received data To simplify the test please use the Simple Server Tool application provided by ATrack Position Message Format Once the communication is established please set the format of the position message By default the device will send the message in binary format with Unix timestamp The default format setting is AT FORM 1 P 0 If you would like to receive position messages in ASCII format with readable timestamp YY YYMMDDhhmmss please send the following command to the device AT FORM 0 1 Note that to skip the field within a command you can simply put a comma as shown above To parse the data please refer to the protocol document in Position Format Tracking All the AVL devices can be used for two modes of tracking 5 1 Tracking on demand This is to manually get the position message on demand To do so simply send AT GPOS 0 and the device will send the position message to the command originator with the current information time coordinates I O status and etc To specify where the position message to be sent to the parameter can be changed For example if the command is sent via SMS but the message is meant to be sent over GPRS to the server the ATrack Technology Inc OF No 285 Tiding Blvd Sec 2 Neihu Dist Taipei City 11493 Taiwan a Tel 886 2 2797 5852 Fax

7. the ATrack devices The devices are set to use the following methods to send an event report set user define trigger report action defines event gt report to monitor gt when report becomes event true An example is to set the ACC ON OFF reports The ACC is defined as the signal detected on INO Therefore we set the below commands to make the device send reports when ACC is ON or OFF AT INPT 0 7 AT REPT 101 1 INO 1 0 1 AT REPT 102 1 INO 0 0 1 AT RACT 1 3 2 The AT INPT is to define the debounce time for the INO ATrack Technology Inc OF No 285 Tiding Blvd Sec 2 Neihu Dist Taipei City 11493 Taiwan a Tel 886 2 2797 5852 Fax 886 2 2797 4030 Web site www atrack com tw 7 ATrack Confidential AT REPT commands are to define the state of INO to monitor When INO is triggered with high voltage the report ID 101 will be true and refer to the report action defined as AT RACT index 1 for action s to take The same applies to report 102 AT RACT in the example here is to define to send the event report to the server over GPRS and log the incident also in the internal flash memory for later retrieval For more detail please refer to the protocol document Sample Script This chapter is to include all the example setting above into a script file Simply copy all the commands below and paste it to the hyper terminal at once Note that the AT GPRS is put as the last command and the reason
