Auto the system selects the time zone automatically CONNECTING BLUETOOTH DE VICE Your vehicle is equipped with the Bluetooth Hands Free Phone System and Bluetooth audio device If you are an owner of a compatible Bluetooth enabled cellular phone or Bluetooth audio device you can set up the wireless connection between your cellular phone and the in vehicle phone module or Bluetooth audio and in vehicle audio module With Bluetooth wireless technology you can make or receive a telephone call with your cellular phone in your pocket and listen to Bluetooth audio Connecting cellular phone audio de vice To use the Bluetooth device with the in vehicle system for the first time the device connection operation is required 1 Touch Settings on the Launch Bar 2 Touch Bluetooth and touch Connect De vice A message is displayed 3 Touch Yes to connect a cellular phone Touch No to connect an audio device and operate as guided by the system Opera tions may differ depending on the device D NOTE Some cellular phones or other devices may cause interference or a buzzing noise to come from the audio system speakers Storing the device in a different location may reduce or eliminate the noise ro e Up to 5 Bluetooth devices can be con nected If 5 devices are already connected one of the devices must first be deleted before another device can be connected Tz Bluetooth setting

Drive on the suggested route Route guidance is turned off Turn on route guidance Route information is not provided for certain types of roads roads displayed in dark green This is not a malfunction The auto reroute calculation or detour calculation suggests the same route as the one previously suggested Route calculations took priority conditions into consideration but the same route was calculated This is not a malfunction A waypoint cannot be added The suggested route is not displayed Five waypoints are already set on the route including ones that the vehicle has already passed Roads near the destination cannot be calculated A maximum of 5 waypoints can be set on the route To go to 6 or more waypoints perform route calculations multiple times as necessary Reset the destination to a main or ordinary road and recalculate the route The starting point and destination are too close Set a more distant destination The starting point and destination are too far away Divide the trip by selecting one or two intermediate destinations and perform route calculations multiple times There are time restricted roads by the day of the week by time near the current vehicle location or destination Select Do Not Use Restriction Info in the Time Restricted Rd setting T3 Route Settings page 6 41 8 Troubleshooting guide Symptom Possible cause Pos

Route guidance on map screen 6 Navigation Enlarged intersection view When route MM starts the small turn arrow on map is displayed in the upper right corner of the map screen This arrow indicates the turning direction at the next guide point corner or intersection The distance is also displayed When approaching a guide point the distance to the guide point and the name of the next street to drive on are displayed on the top of the screen Also there may be cases where next street names are announced When approaching a guide point the system automatically changes to the split screen and shows an enlarged view of the intersection on the left screen To switch to the full map screen while the enlarged intersection view is displayed push MAP 6 29 6 Navigation Junction guidance Turn list Freeway exit information While driving on a freeway when the vehicle is approximately 1 mile approximately 2 km from a junction the system automatically switches to the split screen and displays an enlarged view of the junction on the left screen After passing the junction the system automatically returns to the full screen mode To switch to the full map screen while the enlarged junction view is displayed push MAP 6 30 When Turn List in the view settings menu is turned on a turn list can be displayed on the left side of the screen by pushing lt MAP gt The left screen
