Statewide Student Identifier SSID System Statewide User Manual Version 3 0 There are two scenarios that could occur with this search 1 No Match 2 One Perfect Match There will never be a case where there is more than one matching record since the Student ID is always unique 1 No Match If there are no existing records that match the SID and the four mandatory elements input the user will be notified that there are no existing records The user may then re enter or correct the SID and four mandatory elements input and perform the search again 2 Perfect Match If one exact record is located based on the SID and the four mandatory elements input the Modify Student Information Screen will be displayed with the information located in the SSID System The user may then update any of the information including the mandatory elements The SID is non modifiable throughout the entire SSID application Once all information is input the user must press the Update button to update the database with the changed key student information Once the user presses the Update button the system will verify that the changes did not potentially create a duplicate record If so the user will be prompted that the changes may create a duplicate record and to confirm that the information 1s valid prior to updating the SID record with the information Below 1s an illustration of the Modify Student Information Screen after the student information h
