28. local undulations LEAVING THE OPERATING POSITION Park the machine on level ground Before leaving the operating position stop the engine and make sure all moving parts are stationary Disengage all drives When the machine is to be parked stored or left unattended lower the cutting units unless the transport locks are being used SLOPES TAKE EXTRA CARE WHEN WORKING ON SLOPES Local undulations and sinkage will change the general slope Avoid ground conditions which can cause the machine to slide Keep machine speeds low on slopes and during tight turns Ratchet driven machines free wheel on downhill slopes Remember there is no such thing as a safe slope Travel on grass slopes requires particular care to guard against overturning BLOCKED CUTTING CYLINDER Stop the engine and make sure all moving parts are stationary Apply brakes and disengage all drives Release blockages with care Keep all parts of the body away from the cutting edge Beware of energy in the drive which can cause rotation when the blockage is released Keep other people away from the cutting unit ADJUSTMENTS LUBRICATION AND MAINTENANCE Read all the appropriate servicing instructions Use only the replacement parts supplied by the original manufacturer When adjusting the cutting cylinders take care not to get hands and feet trapped when rotating cylinder Make sure that other people are not touching the cutting unit To reduce the fire

R LA MANUTENZIONE LA SICUREZZA E RICAMBI A ATTENZIONE A Quando collegato un sedile trainato fare l inversione di marcia sempre a bassa velocit e accertarsi che il sedile trainato non si disponga a 90 2 Cavo autoavvolgente per avviamento motore Figura 10 a Tirare lentamente l impugnatura del cavo autoavvolgente fino a quando si avverte una certa resistenza sulla fase di compressione continuare a tirare fino a quando non vi pi alcuna resistenza Lasciare che il cavo si riavvolga lentamente e quindi tirare l impugnatura con forza il motore si accender Se non si osserva questa istruzione il cavo potrebbe rompersi in caso di un ritorno di fiamma IMPORTANTE Non permettere mai al cavo di avviamento di riavvolgersi bruscamente nella propria sede ll cavo deve riavvolgersi lentamente e sotto controllo per evitare che si rompa o che subisca danni cavi di avviamento rotti devono essere sostituiti NON RIPARATI Prima di mettere in moto il motore controllare o registrare come descritto di seguito 1 Controllare che le marce del comando del cilindro e del rullo siano disinnestate e che il freno sia innestato 2 Aprire il rubinetto del carburante spostando la leva in posizione verticale verso il basso 3 Spostare la leva di comando dello starter A Figura 11 sulla destra per l avviamento a freddo NOTA NON usare il comando dello starter se il motore ancora caldo 4 Accert
