4. default settings To reset your receiver to default settings If you wish to reset your receiver to factory default settings in order to reinstall follow the steps below SYSTEM MENU Master Reset In the SYSTEM menu select Master Reset and press OK The screen will change and a warning will be displayed as shown to the left Press OK to reset This will reset all settings that you have done to the factory default values After resetting there will be no channels to view The SYSTEM MENU System Information If you have a technical inquiry regarding the functions of your receiver it may be necessary to quote these figures when calling the technical help line These figures will change when you upgrade the software PARENTAL LOCK To lock programming menus You may wish to lock the programming menus so that it can only be operated with a password INSTALL MENU PARENTAL LOCK In the INSTALL menu select Parental Lock and press OK Menu Lock Press VOL up down to turn it on Old Password Use 0 9 buttons and enter 0000 This is the default password New Password Use 0 9 buttons and enter four numbers of your choice Confirm Use 0 9 buttons and re enter the four numbers of your choice STORE Press OK to store the settings After storing the above settings the menus can only be accessed using the new password you programmed It is therefore important to remember this password If the menus are locked and yo
