Apply grease speclified by the vehicle manufacturer to the spline hub then insert the shaft and wipe away any qrease which is forced Out CAUTION 44 A 4B B Assy Set up the center bar to the pilot at engine side and align the tooth traces on the disc A and the disc B 4A in the structural drawing Tighten the clutch cover Assy No 1 The genuine main drive shaft is recommended for this process Failure in aligning of the tooth traces of the discs A and B will lead to difficulty in the assembly of the transmission and damage to the disc MS360 8 29 35Nm 3 0 3 6kgm Specified torque of bolt No 7
3. Due to the clutch design the multiple disc clutch may cause a rattle noise when disengaged This is not an abnormal condition 5 6 M360 WARNING WARNING Do not change any release control function of the vehicle The clutch is used under normal condition Especially DO NOT remove the spring in the clutch operator Otherwise the preload working on the release bearing will be lost leading to release of the bearing during usage for the pull type

Unequal bolt tightenind will cause disengagement problems and juddershudder 5 4 Confirm that lever height is equal after tightening If it is not equal then restart from item 4 6 T M Replace the T M For the pull type replace the release bearing with the genuine new one and apply specified 9enuine drease to the sliding surfaces appropriately Follow the maintenance manual issued by the vehicle manufacturer T M CAUTION Do not hit the spline teeth with the edge of the main drive shaft It will cau

Installation procedure 1 Disassembly of kit Loosen the bolt No 7 and disassemble the kit AN CAUTION 36 42 Nm 3 7 4 3 kgm1 DO NOT loosen the Nut No 10 that was tightened with the specified torque before delivery lf itis loosened by mistake apply a screw Iock agent strong to it and tighten it with the specified torgue 36 Nm to 42 Nm 3 7 to 4 3 kgm1l 2 Installation of pilot bearing 6 As for the vehicle model that the pilot bearing is required for the flywheel prepare the new and 9enuine parts and install them Refer to the list in page 6 3 F W Installation of flywheel F W 1 6 F W
