1. x HT 059108 00A WIRING THE POWER INPUT e The NPS requires 120VAC 60hz power e Connect the hot line to the terminal marked L Connect the neutral line to the terminal marked N e The terminal marked GND must be connected to earth ground WIRING THE NETWORK OUTPUT e Use 2 wire unshielded twisted pair See Wire Specification below e There is no polarity to observe Either NPS output terminal can be wired to the Platinum Network Input Terminals HWR HWRQ Multi MOD MPC MPCQ or SRC e If both Network Power LEDs are On then the NPS is functioning properly TROUBLESHOOTING CHECKING THE NETWORK POWER e The Network Power LEDs must be On for the NPS to provide power to the network If either of them is Off then contact Heat Timer Technical Support e Remove any wires connected to the NPS outputs Test for 42VDC across the two screw terminals If there is no voltage the NPS may be damaged Contact Heat Timer Technical Support e If 42VDC is present reconnect the NPS to the network e If after connecting 42VDC is not present check the network wiring for shorts If the wiring is correct remove network sensors one at time from the network until the defective sensor is located Earth Ground IF NETWORK SENSORS NPS REGISTER DISCONNECTED IIe e Go to the sensor reading DISCONNECTED and check for Platinum Control 7 A8 Nei network power 42 VDC at the sensor s Network Terminals If network p

Installation and Operation Manual Provides Power to Platinum Network Sensors Network Power Supply The Network Power Supply NPS provides power for Heat Timer Network Mounting Brackets Fuse network sensors These can include all of the following Power LEDs 4 20mA Transmitter HT 904043 00 Network Stack Temperature Sensor HT 904048 00 lt a Network Pressure Sensor 0 30ps1 HT 904065 00 Network Pressure Sensor 0 200psi HT 904066 00 Network Pressure Sensor 0 100psi1 HT 904067 00 Oil Filter Monitoring Kit HT 950093 00 Network Room Space Temperature Sensor HT 904041 00 Water Counter Interface HT 904075 00 2 Water Counter HT 938001 00 y2 Water Counter HT 938002 00 The NPS outputs 42VDC 1 and can power up to any 5 of the above network sensors A ALERT If the Heat Timer network consists ONLY of MiGs Wireless Sensor Link or Oil Tank Levels a NPS is not needed The NPS is only needed to power the network sensors listed above MOUNTING THE ENCLOSURE e Locate the NPS near the equipment to be controlled but away from excessively high or low temperatures e The surface should be flat and sufficiently wide and strong to hold the NPS e Screw the enclosure box to the surface using the enclosure Connect to Platinum Mounting Brackets Power external mounting brackets Control Network 120VAC e Finish all the wiring then lock the enclosure terminals Ei fm CORPORATION
