PARAGON BATH SHOWER DOOR BATH TUB SCREEN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS SBS02 W Please read these instructions carefully before installing If you have any questions regarding installation please call our technical support specialists Monday through Friday 9 00 AM 5 00 PM at Phone 888 895 1989 or e mail our technical support group at Support Paragonbath com For more information on Paragon Bath Shower Doors amp Tub screens please visit www ParagonBath com Installing Preparations 1 After opening the carton please read the instructions carefully examine boxes and packages for shipping damage If the unit has been damaged has a finishing defect or has missing parts please contact our customer support department within 3 business days of the delivery date Please note that Paragon Bath will not replace any damaged products or missing parts free of charge after 3 business days or if the product has been installed Feel free to contact Paragon Bath if you have any questions 2 Please note that you should consult your local building codes with questions on installation compliance standards Building and plumbing codes may vary by location we are not responsible for code compliance standards for your project and will not accept any returns 3 If this screen is going to be installed in a new construction please install all of the required plumbing and drainage before installing the shower Use a competent and licensed if
2. screw ST6 40 07 to lock the wall clamps 18 and stationary glass to the wall then lock the screw of the bottom clamp Please see Fig 4 for details L Ot 9LS M 19S S d jlyd 0 e wee e L pa po _ _ L Fig 4 5 Install hinge and waterproof stripe Please see Fig 5 for details Warm tips This stainless steel hinge comes with the positioning functions with a solid bearing in the hinge middle In order to let door open and close smoothly the waterproof strips need to be cut in advance according to the hinge design Please see Fig 5 for details 6 Install moving glass g _ Place the moving glass 16 to the shower base or tub Z5 fs make the hinge cut area match to the hinges then pE lock the hinge screws Please see Fig 6 for details A hU Ji y S Fig 6 Et jel 7 Install glass shelf 7 1 Fix the glass shelf clamp A 13 to the stationary glass 7 2 Fix the glass shelf clamp B 14 to the wall in this way its better to snap the clamp B to the glass shelf first and push the glass shelf 12 to the clamp A which have installed on stationary glass then make the glass shelf touch to the wall adjust the level to get best result and pull the glass shelf out then draw holes on the clamp B 7 3 Use 1 4 inch drill bit to drill holes on the glass shelf clamp B and knock in the 1 4 anchors use Philip s screw ST4 25 08 to fix clamp B to t
3. 4 products which have been subjected to alteration misuse negligence or accidents corrosion or abrasion 5 products which have been installed contrary to Paragon Bath LLC printed instructions and 6 products used in commercial or multiple family dwellings units Paragon Bath LLC product installations and repairs must be performed by either a Paragon Bath LLC authorized agent or a licensed experienced professional contractor installation or repairs performed by any other party shall void the warranty This warranty shall not apply to breakage or damages caused by normal wear and tear fault carelessness abuse misuse misapplication improper maintenance alteration or modification of the unit as well as chemical or natural corrosion accident fire flood act of God or any other casualty Improper care and cleaning will void the warranty Use of cleaners containing abrasive cleansers ammonia bleach acids waxes alcohol solvents or other products not recommended for chrome or similar finish glass or acrylic will void the warranty For additional product maintenance instructions please refer to product installation manual Paragon Bath LLC is not responsible for any issues arising in connection with errors or omissions in information provided on Paragon Bath LLC websites The warranty does not extend to any non Paragon Bath LLC plumbing or components installed by installers end users or by any party other than Paragon Bath LLC Disclaime
4. aling strip Fig 12 11 Apply the sealant on any necessary places to prevent water leakage Please see Fig 13 for details Fig 13 Product Maintenance To ensure long lasting life for your shower door bath tub screen please clean the dust or stains use non abrasive sprays or cream based cleaners Never use abrasive cleansers metal brushes or scrapers that could scratch or dull the surface To ensure a long lasting hardware finish wipe off the metal parts after each use with a soft cloth Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaning products containing ammonia bleach or acid If accidentally used rinse the surface as soon as possible to prevent finish peeling or corrosion After cleaning the shiny finishes rinse thoroughly and wipe dry with soft cloth Clean stainless steel surfaces at least once a week When applying stainless steel cleaner or polish work with not against across the grain Never use an abrasive sponge or cloth steel wool or wired brushes Thank you for choosing PARAGON BATH The Art Of Showering 4 PARAGONBATH THE ART OF SHOWERING Limited Warranty WARANTY INFORMATION This is Paragon Bath LLC exclusive written warranty effective August 8 2014 This warranty extends only to the original owner end user for household use only and is not transferable to a subsequent owner This warranty applies only to Paragon Bath LLC products purchased from an authorized dealer and installed in United States
5. alysis or inspection of warranty claim discloses any such defects occurring in normal usage within the warranty period Paragon Bath LLC warranty obligation shall be discharged upon tender of replacement or repair Purchaser s refusal to accept the tender terminates warranty obligation Cost of freight for returning products to Paragon Bath LLC for repairs or replacement under this limited warranty are the responsibility of the customer Cost of freight associated with shipping of replacement product or parts to the customer may be charged to customer Any product replaced or repaired during the warranty period will be covered only for the remaining period of the original warranty In no event will Paragon Bath LLC be liable for costs of repair or replacement of any installation material including but not limited to tiles marble contract negligence strict liability in tort or warranty of any kind for any indirect special incidental consequential or exemplary damages including but not limited to lost profits Paragon Bath LLC is not responsible for installation removal or reinstallation costs of any product requiring warranty services Improper modification or alteration of any Paragon Bath LLC products will void the warranty This warranty does not apply to 1 products relocated after initial installation 2 products manufactured or supplied by others 3 products which have defects or damage which result from improper installation
6. e 2pes 10 osne anchor 3pes 20 o WARM TIPS 01 Open the packaging carefully and inspect all the necessary parts using detailed diagram and component list in your manual as a reference Before discarding the carton check for small hardware bags that tend to fall to the bottom of the box If any parts are damaged or missing please contact us for replacement 02 Retain these installation instructions for future use if in need INSTALLATION STEPS 1 Install waterproof strip 01 sealing strip 02 and wall clamp 18 on stationary glass then draw holes of wall clamp on the wall Please see Fig 1 for details mmm mmm me ee j f veds seuy diu1S 001d19 M Sealing strip Fig 1 2 Use 5 16 drill bit to drill the holes and insert the 5 16 anchors 12 Please see Fig 2 for details 3 Place the bottom glass clamp 11 to the shower base or tub put the stationary glass on it make sure the stationary glass wall clamp holes match the wall holes which have been drilled draw holes on shower base or tub through the hole of bottom glass clamp put stationary glass aside and use 1 4 drill bit to drill holes on shower base or tub then knock in the 1 4 anchors to the holes and use Philip s screw ST4 25 08 to lock the clamp to the shower base or tub Please see Fig 3 for details Fig 3 4 Place the stationary glass to the bottom glass clamp use Philip s
