DEALER SET UP INSTRUCTION for SNAPPER PRO736 PRO748 8 PRO752 HYDRO MID SIZE COMMERCIAL MOWERS This unit is packed in two cartons the Power Unit and Mower Attachment deck and Caster Kit Consult your Parts Manual as you follow the steps explained and illustrated below STEP 1 UNPACKING amp PREPARING MOWER DECK Co A Unpack Mower Deck B Remove Belt Cover C Block up rear of Mower Deck with a 2 thick block See Figure 1 TURN PRESSURE S OE PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE ON PLACE 2 THICK RELIEF EACH PUMP TO BLOCK UNDER REAR VALVE RELIEVE SYSTEM OF DECK REMOVE BELT COVER DECK Na PRO736 WELDMENT gt DECK SHOWN FIGURE 1 FIGURE 2 STEP 2 UNPACKING amp PREPARING POWER UNIT A Unpack and remove Power Unit from shipping crate B Look at the rear of the deck weldment and locate the two hydraulic pumps shown in Figure 2 C Turn the pressure relief valve on each pump to the left counterclockwise to relieve system pressure There may be residual hydraulic pressure due to factory testing INSTRUCTION 2 8289 Rev 1 11 94 D Roll Power Unit between brackets located on rear of mower deck See Figure 3 POWER UNIT ROLL BETWEEN DECK BRACKETS DECK BRACKET Ser 2 THICK BLOCK x DECK BRACKET MOWER DECK MAKE SURE 2 THICK BLOCK IS UNDER REAR CF DECK FIGURE 3 STEP 3 ATTACHING POWER UNIT TO MOWER DECK NOTICE DECIDE NOW ON HEIGHT OF CUT The PRO736 PRO74

STED WHEN THEY WILL DEFLECT 1 2 UNDER 10 LBS PRESSURE AT CENTER IDLER PULLEY BLADE PULLEY IDLER PULLEY FIGURE 9 FINAL PREPARATION OF MOWER _ A Check adjustment and tension of drive and cutter belts per Operator s Manual DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN BELTS Fill engine with oil as specified in Engine Operator s Manual CLOSE pressure relief valves on the two hydraulic pumps Refer to STEP 2 Using 20W 50 oil ONLY fill hydraulic reservoir until oil level covers 1 2 of dipstick but not over DO NOT SCREW CAP DOWN WHEN CHECKING OIL LEVEL Fill fuel tank with gasoline as specified in Engine Operator s Manual Open valve under fuel tank F Check pressure in tires and add air as needed to bring pressure to 50 psi MAX in front tires and 28 psi MAX in rear tires G Reinstall deck belt cover Refer to STEP 1 JO U CAUTION Read ALL Safety and Operator s Manuals before starting mower H Check all CONTROLS for proper operation and adjust as necessary per Operator s Manual Start engine and operate all CONTROLS for smooth operation DEALER SET UP INSTRUCTION for SNAPPER PRO736 PRO748 amp PRO752 HYDRO MID SIZE COMMERCIAL MOWERS FR 3 k PRINTED IN U S A INSTRUCTION 2 8289 Rev 1 11 94
