R RadioShack Voice Recorder 63 1137 Operation Removing the Battery Insulation Strip To prevent battery drainage during shipping your recorder is shipped with an insulation strip that you must remove before use 1 Press and rotate the battery compartrert cover counterdockwise to remove it 2 Remove the insulation stip 3 Replace the cover and rotate it clockwise to secure it Recording a Message You can record a message up to 10 seconds long The message remains saved even if the recorder loses battery power 1 Tum the recorder over and hold the microphone about two inches 5 cn away from your mouth 2 Hold down REC The indicator lights and recording begins 3 Speak into the nicrophone and release REC after you finish The indicator flashes every three seconds to indicate a new message is recorded Note If you do not release REC the recording stops autorratically after 10 seconds Playing a Message Press the top cover of the recorder to play the message The REC indicator tums off Using the Magnet The magnet on the bottomof the recorder holds it against any rretal surface such as a refrigerator oven or file cabinet Sinply place the recorder ona rretal surface to mount it Thank you for purchasing the RadioShack Voice Recorder It lets you record and play back up to 10 seconds of sound You can record your own voice to leave yourself an important message or one for your family or friend
