3. fication Selector can be rotated so that the white dot is aligned with 2X and the central area of the focusing screen will then be visible at two times magnification Refconverter ll shares the following features with Refconverter M an unreversed and laterally correct image the camera back cover can be opened and closed while the Refconverter is attached to the eyepiece of the camera and the Refconverter comes with an accessory eyecup Additionally the Diopter Adjustment Ring is calibrated for simplified readjustment DIOPTER ADJUSTMENT e ACCESSORV EVECUP BOP RU ia As all Pentax Refconverters have a built in diopter adjustment provision there is no need for accessory diopter correction lenses lljust 2 To adjust the Refconverter to your eyesight attach it to the eyepiece of the camera and without focusing the lens face a plain background Next while looking through the eyepiece of the Refconverter rotate the Diopter Adjustment Ring until the microprism and ground glass areas of the focusing screen appear as sharp as possible Once Refconverter M has been adjusted there is no need for readjustment when using the Magnification Selector ACCESSORY EVELUF lilust 3 The eyepiece frame of Refconverter M and Refconverter II is made of rubber and easily removed simply pry it off with your fingers Once the rubber eyepiece frame is removed it can be replaced with the accessory eyecup Use of the eyecup is
