Replacement LR1130 1 5V batteries can be purchased at any local drugstore 1 Press the battery compartment tab and lift the compartment lid Remove the three LR1130 1 5V batteries 2 Insert three LR1130 1 5V batteries into the battery compartment Please observe the correct battery polarity The polarity must point upwards 3 Properly replace the battery compartment lid HOW TO SET CLOCK As soon as the humidifier is connected to the power source the LCD display on the clock will illuminate blue Press the button FLOW SET and hold until the first two numbers will blink Press the FUNCTION button to adjust the correct hour Press the FLOW SET button again and the last two numbers will blink Press the FUNCTION button to adjust the correct minutes Press the FLOW SET several times until the correct clock time appears on display NOTE You will need to press through other functions until the clock time you set appears Ul BR WN Fe HOW TO OPERATE THE HUMIDIFIER FEATURES AUTO OFF SAFETY FEATURE As soon as the water in the water tank runs low the humidifier will automatically switch OFF The set LCD Clock will remain on Setting HI LO Output 1 As soon as the humidifier is switched ON it will operate on the HI output 5 bars will on the right hand side of the display 2 Press the FLOW SET to reduce output The bars will disappear on right side of the display 3 The output will be reduced and less mist will be emitted in

Tank with attached water tank cap d AC Power Adapter If any of the above items are missing please contact our service department at 1 888 599 0992 http www crane usa com for replacement Business hours Mon Fri 9 00am 4 00pm CT OPERATION AND USE BEFORE EACH USE CHECK HUMIDIFIER PLACEMENT Place the Humidifier on elevated waterproof level surface for best performance This is to help disperse the mist in the air and prevent it from being knocked over or cause moisture damage to surface DO NOT place Humidifier on top of a towel or a carpeted surface The air vent on the bottom may become blocked and overheat the humidifier CHECK FAN VENT This fan vent is located on the bottom of the humidifier The purpose of the Fan Vent is to blow the cool mist through the nozzle It is important that this part is kept free of obstructions We recommend checking the fan vent before using this item i e lint paper DO NOT operate the humidifier without water in the water tank DO NOT plug in the cord with wet hands electric shock could happen ASSEMBLY AND QUICK START INSTRUCTIONS 1 Locate battery compartment underneath humidifier Remove the plastic protective strip from batteries 2 Lift the water tank off the base Turn over the water tank and unscrew the water tank cap at the bottom of the tank by turning it counterclockwise See Fig 1 3 Fill water tank with cold water do not fill all the way to the rim Note To av

15. ss the FUNCTION button to set the minutes 13 PRESS the FLOW SET button until set time appears How to Activate and Deactivate the Alarm 3 To activate alarm press and hold the CANCEL and FUNCTION buttons two seconds The clock icon will appear in the display 4 To deactivate alarm press and hold the CANCEL and FUNCTION buttons two seconds The clock icon will disappear in the display At the set time the alarm will sound for 2 minutes pause for 30 seconds and then sound again for an additional 2 minutes The alarm will automatically stop once after second alarm sound Press any button to manually stop alarm while it is sounding A NOTE ABOUT HUMIDITY Itis best to keep the humidity level at about 30 50 percent of relative humidity The comfort level of humidity will vary from room to room and with changing room conditions In cold weather windows and even some walls may fog or develop frost from excessive indoor humidity If this occurs reduce the mist intensity setting to avoid damage from condensed water dripping on windowsills Too much humidity in the room may allow moisture to accumulate on surfaces where bacteria and fungi can grow Moisture that gathers may also damage furniture and walls especially wallpaper To eliminate excessive humidity especially in small rooms leave the room door open and adjust the mist intensity control setting MAINTENANCE CAUTION Always be sure that the appliance is unplugged
