8. er normal usage the battery 6 will be fully charged in approximately three to six hours To prolong battery life do not leave the battery on charge for extended periods of time over 30 days without use This can significantly reduce battery life Fitting the battery cap fig D Warning Fit the cap 10 to the battery 6 for transportation and storage Use Pivoting the tool head fig B The tool can be pivoted to three different positions fig B To avoid being pinched at the points indicated by the arrows hold the screwdriver at both ends and use your thumb to press the pivot lock release button 4 when changing positions Do not use the screwdriver as a pry bar in any position Switching on and off fig E e To switch the tool on press the on off trigger switch 7 To switch the tool off release the on off trigger switch 7 A forward reverse and lock off button 8 determines the direction of the tool and also serves as a lock off button To select forward rotation release the on off trigger switch 7 and move the forward reverse and lock off button 8 to the left looking forward To select reverse direction move the forward reverse and lock off button 8 in the opposite direction The centre position of the forward reverse and lock off button 8 locks the tool in the off position Make sure that the on off trigger switch 7 is released before changing the position of the forward r
