ATION AirPlay USE The DMS 3 1 can be used in standalone mode solely as an Apple AirPlay device The DMS 3 1 must be on the same Local Area Network LAN as the AirPlay enabled source of the content that is to be streamed In a standalone configuration the DMS 3 1 audio outputs are connected directly to the audio inputs of a multichannel amplifier shown which will power the speakers located in different rooms of the home In this configuration only content received from an AirPlay enabled device will be available for playback The DMS 3 1 source ID switches will assign a unique name to each stream for identification within the list of AirPlay speakers from you can stream content to Additionally users can assign a custom name for each stream through its own web portal using the following steps On the AirPlay enabled source press the AirPlay button to select the stream on the DMS 3 1 which you wish to send content to Note that iTunes permits streaming of content to one or multiple AirPlay speaker locations while iPod touch iPhone and iPad can stream to a single AirPlay speaker location only If using a Russound user interface AirPlay will be displayed during use and the AirPlay stream will override any other mode currently in use on the DMS 3 1 Ju RRussound Digital Media Streamer n i Am n rr El 12v0e TriggerioomA Ze

20. ion Manual Listening to SiriusXM Internet Radio Sirius XM Internet radio permits one instance of streaming content per subscription though users can listen to a shared audio output when used with a C Series controller So while the same user account credentials can be entered into all streaming modules of the DMS 3 1 only one can stream content at any given time Selection from another streaming module and will disconnect prior instances of Sirius XM internet radio streaming The DMS 3 1 can have up to three user accounts one per stream for independent listening on all outputs of the DMS 3 1 Once account credentials are entered they are saved After logging out the username and password can be cleared from the log in screen to prevent unwanted access SiriusXM channels are filtered by categories so the user will first be prompted for the selection of the category then the list of all channels within that category will be presented for selection To listen to SiriusXM Internet Radio you ll need to subscribe to Sirius XM Internet Radio service and obtain a username and password SiriusXM Internet Radio is available to residents of the United States and Canada SiriusXM Internet Radio delivers a variety of commercial free music including Pop Rock Country R amp B Hip Hop Jazz Classical and much more plus expert sports talk and analysis You also get exclusive entertainment talk comedy family programming local traffic and weather
