1. Any product which has a serial number defaced altered modified or removed Any product that has been altered or modified without SAS consent SAS How to obtain warranty services 1 You are responsible for delivery of the product to an authorized BAZOOKA dealer or contact SAS at 1 800 THE TUBE for a Return Authorization number The Return Authorization number must be clearly written on the outside of the box Freight must be prepaid to SAS Warranty replacement parts will be returned freight prepaid The entire enclosure may be returned for warranty service but return will be freight collect 2 You must provide proof of the date of purchase of the product If proof of purchase is not provided original date of manufacture will be used to determine warranty period 3 You must package the product securely to avoid damage during shipment 4 After acquiring a Return Authorization number ship to the address below Please complete this section and retain for your records Model s purchased Serial number s Date Purchased Dealer s name
2. in each of the four corners on the pocket Now pull each of the four fasteners out of the bike Reset the fastener by holding the flared base and then pressing the pointed tip until the shaft of the fastener pops out beyond the flared base Remove the headlight adjustment switch panel This panel is located by your left knee when riding Remove the allen head fastener Just below the fastener is a small slot Using a small tip standard screwdriver gently push the tool into the slot Now move the handle of the tool to the left This will disengage the tab holding the panel in place Unplug the connecter and remove Remove the gray dash cover Pop the speaker grills off Under each grill you will find one black pop fastener slightly different than the fairing pocket design and one allen head fastener Remove both on each side Now lift the cover where it meets the black plastic next to the radio Once the rear is popped up you will have to disconnect the plug for the MODE TRIP buttons You have to use your Honda GL1800 2001 2005 Audio Amplifier Installation Instructions fingernail to lift the tab and pull the the bike Thread the harness from two apart Remove dash cover inside the trunk or saddlebag to under the seat area Do not connect to the 31 Remove fairing speakers amp at this time Refer to Fig 2 3 Shop Tip 32 Use the longest shaft phillips screwdriver you have It gives you better leverage and makes it l
3. starting at the front Caution 23 Pull the panel as evenly as possible Excessive angles can break the fingers off the back of the panel 24 Remove the left chrome engine cover This panel is held in place by rubber grommets Pop the panel at the bottom and then the side towards the rear of the bike Then slide the panel towards the rear of the bike to disengage the front catch Shop Tip 25 The front grommet is famous for popping out when this panel is removed Check the panel to see if the grommet is still in place You can also lightly soray the grommets with silicone to allow them to pop off better in the future and reduce the risk of loss 26 Remove the left fairing trim strip This is the strip to the left of the left fairing pocket This is held in place by tabs on the back of the strip Start at the bottom of the strip Gently push the strip to the side and then in a slight rocking motion disengage the tab Repeat the process until all the tabs are disengaged and the strip has been Honda GL1800 2001 2005 Audio Amplifier Installation Instructions removed Shop Tip 21 28 29 30 The trim strips have a tab at the top That is the tab you start with when reinstalling the strip The strips are also marked on the back with an R or an L if you forget what side it came from Remove the left fairing pocket Open the pocket Using a small tipped tool press in the center of the fastener

5. ach the harness to the black metal bar that is under the gauge cluster Run the wire thru the hole you created earlier Inside each speaker housing you will find the connectors that were previously connected to the speakers Connect the male blade connectors from the amps wiring harness to these connectors Note that one connector is smaller than the other Connect your new speakers to the harness Refer to Fig 1 6 Shop Tip 49 When you insert the speakers for installation rotate the speaker terminals towards the gauge cluster If pointed down they can short out against the mounting bolt and shut down the audio system Only three of the speaker fasteners are necessary to hold the speaker in place You can omit the fastener that is hidden under the dash face 50 Connect the wires to the amp Connect 5L 52 93 the large red wire to 12V Connect the large black wire to GND Plug the large multi wire connector into the side of the amp Turn the gain control on the amp to MIN setting Mount the amp keeping in mind you will need to access the gain control Insert the fuse into the fuse holder A spark is normal when it is connected Turn key on Select audio source Set the volume on 23 24 Adjust the gain until distortion is heard In most systems there will be no distortion and the gain control will be at or close to MAX Reassemble bike and enjoy your BAZOOKA sound system Visit us at www bazo
6. ctors Run these connectors behind the frame and then towards the spring tool Grab the wires with the tool by pressing the plunger and grabbing them with the fingers Once you have a good grip on the wires slowly pull the tool out upwards Fig 1 5 44 Once you have the wires pulled up tuck the wires under the edge of the side of the shelter Pull the wires tight 41 Using a spring tool insert the tool bringing up all extra slack inside the hole where the fairing pocket was removed going downward 45 Run the wires along the right side of to where the engine cover was the cavity where the fairing pocket sits removed Keep the tool as close as towards the bottom of the left speaker possible to the inside of the fairing housing Refer to Fig 3 5 panel When you are finished the top of the tool with the plunger will be visible out of the top of the fairing and the fingers on the opposite side of the tool will be visible out of the bottom of the fairing Refer to Fig 2 5 Fig 2 5 Shop Tip 42 It will take you several attempts to get Fig 3 5 the tool inserted as there is a large wire bundle and several other items in Honda GL1800 2001 2005 Audio Amplifier Installation Instructions 46 Take the shorter of the two remaining 47 48 leads and run in into the hole you created earlier Take the last remaining lead and run it under the gauge cluster to the right speaker housing Using wire ties att

10. ow of the block are two phillips head Connect the fuse holder to the positive screws The top screw turns on when post on the right side of the battery the bikes key is turned on Connect Connect the other side of the fuse the blue wire from the harness to the holder to the large red wire in the amp top screw Refer to Fig 2 4 harness Connect the large black wire in the amp harness to the bolt that connects the silver frame of the bike to the black saddlebag sub frame just in front of the trunk Be sure to remove the silver paint off the frame for the best possible ground and to eliminate noise Refer to Fig 1 4 for ground bolt 40 Front soeaker connection preparation You will need to drill a hole in the side of the speaker housing to run the wires into Drill a 3 8 hole in the lower corner of the housing on the side of the _ housing that faces the gauge cluster Fig 1 4 Refer to Fig 3 4 and Fig 1 5 Shop Tip 37 Put a small flat washer on the battery terminal screw This will stop any wires you have connected to the battery terminal from rotating while tightening the fastener Caution 38 The battery terminal MUST be tight Failure to do so can cause the bike to shut down when the started button Is depressed Honda GL1800 2001 2005 Audio Amplifier Installation Instructions this location 43 On the wire harness there are two sets of unused connectors These are the front speaker conne
