5. e speaker above the SP 18 be sure to observe the follow precau tions e Check the pole s specifications to be certain that it is designed to support the weight on the speaker Observe all safety precautions specified by the stand s pole s manufacturer e Make sure the pole is placed completely within the receptacle cup both on the subwoofer and the full range speaker e Route cables so that performers production crews and audiences will not trip over them and pull the speaker over e Do not attempt to place more than one speaker on a pole designed for a single speaker e Do not mount a speaker above the subwoofer in windy conditions e B 52 Pro Audio recommends that you not lift the speaker above the subwoofer alone Hearing damage prolonged exposure to excessive SPL B 52 Pro Audio speakers especially the SP 18 S are capable of producing sound pressure levels SPL suf ficient to cause permanent hearing damage to performers production crews or people in the audience Hearing protection devices ear plugs are recommended Caution should be taken to avoid extended expo sure to SPL in excess of 90 dBA Amplifier Module Precautions Do not attempt to service the SP 18 by yourself Refer all servicing to a B 52 Pro Audio Authorized dealer Service is required when the SP 18 has had liquid spilled on or inside the subwoofer objects have fallen onto the speaker or it has been damaged in any way the speaker has been exposed to rain or mois
