4. ews Ensure that the wall fixings and screws are suitable for the wall material Mark the positions of the four holes on the wall according to fig 8 Insert the 4 wall plugs into the holes and fix 2 screws in the top holes so that they are protruding from the wall by approx 5mm Next lift the hood onto the 2 screws as shown in the diagram fig 9 Secure the top two screws and fix the hood into position using screws inserted into the 2 lower holes Shown in fig 10 The extractor is now secured to the wall Using the extractor as a recirculation device Refit the top cover and grill as below before proceeding to fit the charcoal filter Locate each filter onto the motor housing spigot and rotate to lock into position as shown in figure 12 Mounting the Chimney Section 1 Adjust the width of the mounting bracket to suit the chimney size of your extractor and mark 2 points on the wall 20mm down from the ceiling for the fixings fig 13 2 Drill and insert 2 plugs suitable for use with the wall type into the holes and fix the bracket with 2 screws 3 Fit the chimney section and secure to the mounting bracket with the supplied screws fig 14 Installation Finally fit the ducting adapter to the extractor outlet and secure the chimney to the body of the extractor as shown in figures 15 and 16 Attribute Model Identification ooo dege eva Time increase factor aS o EREE a E

7. ing key A for approximately five seconds until the letter F stops flashing To attach a new charcoal filter first remove the cover panels and filters as described above Then offer up the charcoal filter to the side of the motor as shown in figure 4 and turn it clockwise until it locks into place Repeat with the other charcoal filter on the other side of the motor Then replace the grease filters and cover panels Changing the Light IMPORTANT DO NOT PERFORM MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING OF THE EXTRACTOR WITHOUT FIRST SWITCHING OFF THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY DO NOT CHANGE THE LIGHT BULB IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE AS THE BULB WILL BE HOT ALLOW IT TO COOL BEFORE REMOVING IT Carefully prise open the lamp assembly cover D using a small flat bladed screw driver and remove the old bulb C Refit the new bulb taking care not to touch the glass of the bulb Fingerprints will lead to premature failure of the bulb Do not touch bulbs or adjacent areas during or straight after prolonged use of the lights The light is designed for use during cooking and not for general room illumination Extended use of the light can reduce the life span of the bulb Bulb replacement is not covered by the guarantee Only use bulbs recommended for your extractor Do not fit bulbs of a higher power rating Bulbs of a lower power rating may be adequate for use generally last longer and use less energy Mains Electricity Connection THIS APPLIANC
8. ply using a dilute solution of water and mild detergent and drying to a shine with a clean cloth Cleaning the grease filter The grease filter should be kept clean to minimise the risk of fire When the display flashes alternating the speed selected with the letter A or at least once a month you should remove and clean the grease filter with hot soapy water You can also wash the grease filter in a dishwasher ensuring that you place it in an upright position to prevent damage from other items in the dishwasher After rinsing and drying replace the filter After the grease filter has been replaced the electronic memory must be reset by touching key A for approximately five seconds until the letter A stops flashing To remove the grease filter follow the steps below 1 Remove the stainless steel cover panels as shown in fig 2 2 Pull open the handle on the grease filter as shown in fig 3 It will release at the handle side Then lower the grease filter to remove it completely To replace the grease filter repeat the steps in reverse Please note Cleaning the grease filter in the dishwasher may lead to discolouration This is normal and does not constitute a fault with the appliance Changing the charcoal filter re circulating only When the display flashes alternating the speed selected with the letter F the charcoal filters must be replaced After the charcoal filter has been replaced the electronic memory must be reset by touch
